Cleaning Out the Closet

I went through my closet today and had to get rid of so many clothes. The new “girls” just don’t fit in some of my little outfits, lol! All the bras are history of course. I was still able to squeeze into a few but that’s because I took the pads out and they are only for photoshoots. there are some clothes, dresses and shirts that I tried on that I was so pleased with. They looked better now than they did before, woohoo!

I hated getting rid of some things but the good thing is that there is an organization here in Las Vegas that you can donate clothing to that helps the ladies and children suffering from domestic violence. They put the women up in safe houses and many times, they have nothing but the shirts on their backs. Many times the clothes they are in are filthy from a fight that just ensued and they need fresh, clean clothing.

So, I bagged up about 5 bags of clothing and headed over to the donation center. On the way, I stopped and picked up some socks, underwear and flip flops, which ended up filling up another bag. I couldn’t just go there with bags of bras and tops.

Helping others that need a hand is one of the most rewarding things you can do.
